Scope and Contents of the Materials

This collection contains postcard scenes and historic places from places around the state of Alabama, including Florence, Sheffield, Tuscumbia, and Selma. It also contains postcard scenes and historic places from the states of Tennessee, Georgia, and New York, as well as a few from Ontario, Canada. There are numerous postcards that depict buildings here on the University of North Alabama's campus, even some that are no longer standing. There are also many scenes from Yellowstone National Park.

These may have come from different owners. There are handwritten notes on many of them.
